The Camden Shipping Corporation^® (CSC) intends to help make the Port of Camden, and ultimately the City of Camden, a vibrant, prosperous location. CSC will complement the State of New Jersey’s revitalization effort in Camden by utilizing one of Camden’s most valuable resources – the South Jersey Port Corporation, Camden’s linkage to the world market.

CSC also exists to fill a void in the maritime industry by expanding opportunities for women and minorities to meaningfully participate in the maritime trades. There has never been a minority female-owned ocean transportation company in the history of the United States. Moreover, female-owned ocean transportation companies are virtually non-existent worldwide. Camden Shipping hopes to pave the way for women around the world to engage in maritime industry.
